24 Hours in Brisbane

25 February 2017

One of the must-do things that our crew do when we're visiting Brisbane for the first time is - cuddling koalas! Brisbane has the world's first and largest koala sanctuary - Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. It's recommended if you visit Brisbane.

We took a bus from the central. You can either take Bus #430, which leaves from the Queen Street bus station or Bus #445 that leaves from stop 40 in Adelaide Street. Bus fare is A$6.70 for adults, A$3.40 for children. It's a really cheap option as taxi from city center will cost you about A$40.

There are many animals for you to see in the sanctuary. My favourites are koalas and kangaroos! The best thing is you can cuddle a koala and get your picture taken and printed out as a souvenir!

I have been to Brisbane a few times and every time I do different things. Below are some photos taken during different layovers.

Cuddling my koala!

Can you see a baby kangaroo in the pocket? How cute is that!

Brisbane City

Queen Street - good for shopping and hanging out!

Brisbane City Botanic Gardens

This is probably my favourite place in Brisbane. It felt really laid back and relaxing. I bought a bento (packed food) and came here to chill and spend time alone while enjoying the city view and cool breeze. What a perfect day!
